Welcome to Anchovies!

In the Gospel of John (chapter 6) we are told that a little boy had five small loaves of bread and two small fish that Jesus multiplied to feed 5,000 people. In my other blog I offer up small bits and pieces in hopes of Jesus using it to encourage and feed people. I call it fresh-bread. This blog is the protein side of that equation.

In the weeks to come various people from Cornerstone will post devotional thoughts on this site that will correspond to the New Testament reading we will be doing together as a church this fall. Like the fish the boy gave Jesus, these are small. And as those fish (anchovies, perhaps?) provided nourishment physically, I think you will find these devotional blogs bring nourishment for your soul.

If you are interested, the authors of each day's blog will also have an audio version posted for you to download and listen to. If you wish, you can subscribe through iTunes and have it synced to your iPod automatically. Either way, I think you will find that these devotional thoughts will be an encouragement to you as you join with us in reading through the New Testament in the next 13 weeks.
